~ Harsh Sanghvi, Dy.Chief Minister, Gujarat and Chief Justice, Gujarat High Court will be the Guests of Honor
~Padma Shri Dr. J.M. Vyas to confer degrees at NFSU Convocation
Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Feb 25, The 4th Convocation of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) will be held on 27th February, 2026.
According to an official release today, Justice Surya Kant, the Chief Justice of India, will grace the occasion as the ‘Chief Guest’. Harsh Sanghavi, Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat and Justice Sunita Agarwal, Chief Justice, High Court of Gujarat will grace the function as the ‘Guests of Honour’. Padma Shri awardee Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, will confer degrees to the students during the convocation ceremony.
Prof. Dr. S.O. Junare, Campus Director of NFSU Gandhinagar, announced that 1,799 students will be conferred degrees, including 17 Ph.D. recipients. In recognition of academic excellence, 52 gold medals will also be given to meritorious students.
A landmark initiative will also be unveiled during the convocation. The International Digital Dispute Resolution Centre (IDDRC) will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India. This pioneering centre aims to revolutionize judicial processes by leveraging technology for innovation, transparency, and speedy resolution of disputes. The IDDRC is envisioned to enhance accessibility and effectiveness in dispute resolution, not only in India but across the globe.
The convocation will witness participation from international dignitaries, including representatives from Zimbabwe and Saudi Arabia, alongside eminent personalities from across India, officers from various Law Enforcement Agencies, Judicial Officers, members of the Board of Governors and Academic Council, faculty members, students, and their families.
