~IIM Ahmedabad held the first cluster of its Summer Placement Process for the PGP Class of 2028, featuring over 85 roles and leading recruiters.
Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Oct 24 (VNI): The first cluster of the Summer Placement Process for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) Class of 2028 was held on October 23, 2026, at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), bringing together leading firms from consulting, investment banking, financial advisory and investment management sectors.
The placement process covered six cohorts: advisory consulting; cards and financial advisory; investment banking and markets; management consulting; private equity/venture capital (PE/VC), asset management and hedge funds; and transformation and operations consulting. The process was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing recruiters to participate both online and in person. More than 85 roles were offered during the first cluster.
The consulting cohort featured firms including Accenture Strategy, Alvarez & Marsal, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, EY-Parthenon, Kearney, Kepler Cannon, L.E.K. Consulting, McKinsey & Company, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Strategy&, Vector Consulting Group and YCP India, among others.
The investment banking and markets cohort included Bank of America, Barclays, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, Moelis & Co, Morgan Stanley, Standard Chartered Bank and The Raine Group, among others.
The private equity and venture capital cohort saw participation from Ares Management, Aquilon Capital, Catamaran, Gaja Capital, Multiples Alternate Asset Management and Blackstone, among others. American Express, Cranmore Partners and Synergy Consulting were among the recruiters participating in the cards and financial advisory cohort.
The placement process also featured international opportunities, including roles with EY-Parthenon in Singapore, Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong and HSBC in Hong Kong, offering students exposure to potential global career pathways.
The second and third clusters of the IIMA Summer Placement Process for the PGP Class of 2028 are scheduled to be held on October 27 and October 30, 2026, respectively.
