Ahmedabad, Gujarat, July 28 (VNI): Ambuja Cements Limited, part of the Adani Group portfolio and the world’s ninth-largest cement company, has reported a strong performance for the first quarter of FY27 ended June 30, 2026. The company posted quarterly revenue of ₹9,500 crore, reflecting sustained growth driven by value-led strategies and operational excellence.
The company reported operating EBITDA of ₹1,589 crore, with EBITDA margins improving by 3.3 percentage points quarter-on-quarter to 16.7%. Ambuja also achieved a 2.1 percentage point year-on-year improvement in clinker factor, reaching 63.7%, highlighting enhanced operational efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Commenting on the results, Vinod Bahety, Whole Time Director and CEO of Ambuja Cements Limited, said the company has entered FY27 with strong momentum, supported by value-led growth, premiumisation, and disciplined execution. He noted that higher trade sales and a greater share of premium products strengthened the company’s market mix, leading to improved profitability and better quality of earnings.
