~Day 3 of the 3rd Edition of Farm to Fashion and 10th Edition of FABEXA Expo Showcasing Gujarat’s Textile Leadership
Gandhinagar, Gujarat, May 20, FABEXA Expo, organized here today, highlighted the theme: “Investment Opportunities in Gujarat’s Textile Sector.”
According to Additional Secretary General Rahul Sheth The third day of the 3rd Edition of Farm to Fashion and 10th Edition of FABEXA Expo, organized by the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) and Maskati Cloth Market Mahajan, highlighted the theme: “Investment Opportunities in Gujarat’s Textile Sector.” The event took place at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, continuing to serve as a dynamic platform for innovation, trade, and strategic collaboration.
The day’s proceedings brought together eminent dignitaries from the government, industry and investment communities to discuss Gujarat’s robust and evolving textile ecosystem. The session featured the presence of:

All speakers emphasized the State Government’s unwavering commitment to positioning Gujarat as a global textile hub, leveraging policy-backed growth, employment generation and sustainable innovation.
A specially curated audio-visual presentation showcased Gujarat’s end-to-end textile value chain, followed by a detailed presentation on the Gujarat Textile Policy 2025 by Shri D.M. Jadeja, Joint Commissioner, Industries.
Further, D.H. Ghanghar, General Manager, GIDC, presented insights into the proposed PM MITRA Park, elaborating on its integrated infrastructure, strategic advantages and transformative potential for the textile manufacturing ecosystem.
K.P. Der, Joint Commissioner, Industries, provided an in-depth overview of the Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Schemes 2022, outlining key incentives for businesses focused on inclusive and sustainable textile development.
The day concluded with a grand fashion show organized by FABEXA. Featuring 28 leading models, the event showcased an impressive sequence of garments from 18 participating companies, covering both men’s and women’s collections. The show was directed by a renowned fashion choreographer and attended by over 700 guests, including several high-ranking government officials and industry leaders.
The fashion show served as a testament to Gujarat’s growing design capabilities and creative prowess, reinforcing the state’s strength across the entire textile value chain from farm to fashion.
