National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad sources said today, system named Scalequence, which is a scalable bookshelf designed to spark exploration, engagement, and a renewed sense of discovery in reading.
By merging sustainable materials—like Craste’s Fuma boards—with 3D printing technology, they have drawn inspiration from biomimicry to create an adaptive furniture that keeps books at the center of attention in a screen-dominated world.
The team was awarded 30K in cash prize along with internship opportunities to each member of the winning team at their flagship facility in Morena Madhya Pradesh.
