AMA hosts an exhibition on “Amdavad in 1960s: The Golden Era of Textile Mills and Past Century’s Memories of Amdavad”

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Apr 30, To commemorate the 65th Foundation Day of Gujarat, Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) hosted an exhibition titled “Amdavad in the 1960s: The Golden Era of Textile Mills & Past Century’s Memories of Amdavad.”
According to Dr. Mukund patel, AMA, This first-of-its-kind exhibition is curated by Dr. Dhimant Purohit (Editor in Chief, newzviewz). Mohal Sarabhai (Honorary Secretary of AMA) inaugurated the exhibition and said that “the exhibition showcases the vibrant history of the city’s iconic textile mills and cherished memories from the past century. This exhibition offers a nostalgic immersion into a pivotal era of Amdavad’s industrial and cultural landscape.”
Dr. Dhimant Purohit said that it serves as a tribute to the spirit and resilience of Amdavad and its people, aiming to bring alive the memories of a time when the textile mills were the heart and soul of the city, shaping its economy, culture, and social fabric.”
