Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Aug 01 (VNI): Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) on Saturday said it continues to make every effort to minimize the impact of the latest CNG price revision on consumers while ensuring an uninterrupted supply of compressed natural gas (CNG), which remains an economical and environmentally friendly fuel option.
According to an ATGL spokesperson, the revision in CNG prices has been necessitated by a significant increase in natural gas sourcing costs. The increase has resulted from reduced availability of domestic gas, supply curtailments, and elevated global natural gas prices driven by prevailing geopolitical developments.
Despite these challenges, the company said it has taken measures to limit the impact on consumers while maintaining a reliable supply of CNG across its network. ATGL reiterated that CNG continues to be a cost-effective and cleaner alternative to conventional fuels.
