Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Jan 10, GUJARAT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (GCCI) Business Women Committee (BWC) organized a B2B event with the theme “Elevate Startup Connecting Opportunities” today.
According to press release issued by GCCI Additional Secretary General Geeta A Joshi today, Speaking on the occasion GCCI President, Sandeep Engineer mentioned that GCCI has been focusing on startups & MSME units considering their importance towards India’s growth story. He congratulated Business Women Committee for organizing the B2B event. He remarked about many proactive measures taken by Government to provide opportunities to startups in our country.
Shri Engineer remarked that the B2B event will help startups exchange ideas about opportunities & challenges and work together to address them.
In her welcome address, BWC Chairperson Ms. Prachi Patwari emphasized the committee’s focus on Leadership, Learning, and Leverage, highlighting the importance of fostering innovation, collaboration, and growth opportunities for startups and established businesses. She remarked that the B2B event aims to help startups identify shared interests and work synergistically toward mutual success. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the funding partners, Shuru-Up and Wealthstreet Financial Services; the knowledge partner, Money Plus Consultancy Services; and the ecosystem partner, Antrapreneur – The Business Incubator, for their invaluable support, while also acknowledging K.B. Zaveri and Laxmi Jewellers for their contributions. Special appreciation was extended to Executive Committee Member Binjan Sheth for co-conceptualizing this impactful initiative.
Ms. Binjan Sheth in her theme address mentioned about her commitment as the GCCI Executive Committee Member towards organizing this B2B event for the startups. She emphasized on importance of startups in driving the nation’s progress toward becoming an advanced economy and called for collective efforts to support and collaborate with them. She shared an optimistic vision, encouraging everyone to collaborate in shaping a brighter future for India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Ms. Asha Vaghasia, Co-chairperson of BWC, proficiently moderated the event and Ms. Gopi Trivedi, Head of the Knowledge Series and Ms. Setu Patel, Business Development Head, BWC efficiently managed its coordination.
The event concluded after the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Shalu Lekhadia, Co-chairperson, Business Women Committee.
