~High-Energy Dhol-Tasha Drumming by 50 Artists Sets Pilgrims Dancing; Three Drums Break
Somnath, Gujarat, Jan 09, During the grand “Ravadi” (Palki Yatra) held today under the Somnath Swabhiman Parv, the entire town of Somnath was filled with devotion and enthusiasm, with large numbers of devotees and pilgrims from across the state taking part.
The high-energy Dhol-Tasha performance by 50 artists turned the Ravadi into a vibrant celebration, filling Somnath with rhythm, devotion, and unmatched enthusiasm. As the Ravadi progressed with the loud beats of Dhol-Tasha, spectators lining both sides of the road shared the excitement, and the artists’ coordinated performance turned the event into a grand folk celebration. The drumming was so energetic that about three drums were broken. During the Ravadi, the glory of Sanatan culture echoed through chants of Jai Shivshankar and Har Har Mahadev by the devotees. Along with the beats of Dhol-Tasha, a unique confluence of devotion and joy was created.
