Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Jan 08, GUJARAT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (GCCI) appreciates proactive initiative taken by Chief Minister, Bhupendrabhai Patel for the growth of industries.
According to Additional Secretary General Rahul Sheth today, Shri Patel, in his commitment to realizing the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” of our Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi by 2047, has taken significant steps to address the challenges faced by industries in Gujarat. To further this objective, Industries Commissioner arranged a high-level meeting with representatives from leading chambers and industrial associations across the state, aiming to gather valuable inputs and suggestions to improve the industrial ecosystem in Gujarat.
Sandeep Engineer, President GCCI, Rajesh Gandhi, Senior Vice President, Apurva Shah, Vice President and Gaurang Bhagat, Secretary attended the meeting, contributing their insights and suggestions pertaining to industries.
Shri Sandeep Engineer commended the proactive approach taken by the Chief Minister, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, highlighting his dedication to resolving industrial challenges. He acknowledged the importance of addressing these concerns as they play a pivotal role in the overall growth and development of Gujarat’s industrial landscape.
The meeting held in the esteemed presence of Minister of Industry, Balvatsinh Rajput, Minister of State for MSMEs & Co-operation, Jagdishbhai Panchal, Principal Secretary, Industries, Mamata Verma, IAS; Vice Chairman & Managing Director, GIDC, Dr. Rahul Gupta, IAS, Industries Commissioner, Sandip Sagale, IAS and other senior officials from the concerned departments. This meeting proved to be highly productive, with the majority of minor issues being resolved on the spot. Furthermore, directives were issued to the concerned departments to expedite the resolution of outstanding matters.
GCCI extends its sincere appreciation and supports the proactive initiatives taken by the Industries Department under the guidance of the Chief Minister and other distinguished leaders to foster the growth of the industrial ecosystem across Gujarat. These efforts are crucial in enhancing the industrial ecosystem, fostering a more conducive environment for business growth, and positioning Gujarat as a key driver in the journey towards a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
