Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Feb 13, The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) today, organized a guided, Hands-on workshop on “Journaling for Leadership Clarity”.

According to Additional Secretary General Geeta A Joshi, The main speaker for the workshop was Aditi Shukla Fozdar, Editorial Strategist. Sudhanshu Mehta, Hon. Secretary of GCCI, warmly welcomed all the participants and the esteemed speaker to the workshop, and in his address, he remarked on the importance of a hands-on journaling workshop for achieving greater leadership clarity.

Giving the Theme Address GCCI BWC Chairperson Ashaben Vaghasia expressed gratitude to Aditi Shukla Fozdar for her presence as the main speaker. She emphasized the importance of journaling which helps us recall things for a longer time and also helps us better understand things. She remarked about leaders across history having this practice of keeping journal. She also remarked about the role of journal as a therapy as well as Aide-Memoire. She gave examples of historical figures for their practice of journal keeping.
Ms. Salomi Shah formally delivered the introductory address of the speaker on the occasion and succinctly outlined her key achievements and professional accomplishments.
The session highlighted the idea that a well-stated problem is half solved, emphasizing journaling as a powerful habit for enhancing clarity and reducing decision fatigue. Ms. Aditi Shukla Fozdar shared that regular journaling supports work–life balance, strengthens self-awareness, and helps individuals leverage their personal strengths. In today’s attention-driven and socially over-committed environment, she introduced tools such as a personal Tension Map and the CORE framework – Critical, Other, Repeating, and Emotional Residues, to systematically organize thoughts and activities. She further explained journaling as an effective leadership tool that provides a private, structured space for reflection and decision-making. The practice, she noted, aids in planning, prioritization, time management, and managing people and outcomes, ultimately fostering both internal and external leadership excellence.
The workshop concluded after the vote of thanks proposed by BWC member Mittali Shah Desai.
