~GCCI launched Vibrant PACE 1.0, a year-long CSR initiative in Ahmedabad to connect corporates with credible NGOs and implementing agencies for impactful CSR partnerships.
Ahmedabad, Gujarat, July 15 (VNI): The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), through its CSR Committee, launched Vibrant PACE 1.0 (Platform for Aligning CSR Excellence), a year-long initiative designed to connect corporates with credible NGOs, trusts, healthcare institutions, and social enterprises for impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) collaborations.
GCCI President Sandeep Engineer said the initiative aims to create a structured repository of credible CSR projects while facilitating meaningful partnerships between corporate organizations and implementing agencies. He announced that Vibrant PACE will feature four thematic editions over the coming year, culminating in the Vibrant PACE Grand Finale in June 2027, which will include CSR networking, project matchmaking, and CSR Excellence Awards.
CSR Committee Chairman Apoorva Thakershy highlighted the vision behind the initiative, stating that Vibrant PACE will serve as a bridge between corporates and trusted implementing agencies while promoting sustainable, need-based development through responsible CSR initiatives. The inaugural edition focused on Healthcare & Medical CSR, covering healthcare, preventive healthcare, sanitation, safe drinking water, eradication of hunger and malnutrition, women empowerment, and rural development. During the event, 22 NGOs and trusts showcased their CSR projects and implementation capabilities before corporate CSR representatives.
The programme also featured technical sessions by Vijay Moolani, Company Secretary, Wagh Bakri Group, who explained the Social Stock Exchange (SSE), SEBI compliance requirements, Zero Coupon Zero Principal (ZCZP) instruments, and governance standards for NGOs. Swadesh Saxena, CSR Head, UPL Group, shared insights on strategic CSR planning, sustainable partnerships, and creating measurable social impact. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session and a vote of thanks by Alpesh Parikh, Co-Chairman of the GCCI CSR Committee.
