GCCI’s Biannual Mega Blood Donation Drive from 1st January to 26th January
Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Jan 01, GUJARAT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (GCCI)’s Mahajan Sankalan Taskforce, in collaboration with its affiliated associations and with the support of the Indian Red Cross Society, has organized a month-long Biannual Mega Blood Donation Drive from January 1 to January 26, 2025.
According to GCCI Addl. Secretary General Rahul Sheth, This initiative has been undertaken to commemorate GCCI’s 75th year of establishment, marking a significant milestone in its longstanding commitment to community welfare. The drive was inaugurated today, January 1, 2025, at the Ahmedabad Timber Merchant Association in by the President GCCI, Sandeep Engineer.
The event witnessed the presence of Sandeep Engineer, President, GCCI, Ashishbhai Zaveri, Chairman, Mahajan Sankalan Committee and Chintan Sheth, President, Ahmedabad Timber Merchant Association, along with the association members.
In his address, Shri Sandeep Engineer lauded the Ahmedabad Timber Merchant Association for their meticulous planning and execution of the blood donation camp. He highlighted the growing health challenges stemming from unhealthy lifestyles and emphasized the urgent need for increased blood donations to address these issues. He further noted that this initiative reflects GCCI’s unwavering dedication to societal welfare and its proactive stance in meeting critical healthcare needs. He also appealed to all members and stakeholders to participate in this noble cause by organizing similar blood donation drives at their esteemed office or factory premises during this period.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Chintanbhai Sheth, President of the Ahmedabad Timber Merchant Association, expressing gratitude to all participants and supporters for their contributions to this noble cause.
