on MCX CRUDEOIL futures gains by 0.31%: MCX records turnover of Rs.15394.32 crores in Commodity Futures & Rs.56794.1 crores in Options
Mumbai, Maharashtra, Jun 09, GOLD futures drops by 0.3%, while SILVER futures gains by 0.59% on MCX and MCXBULLDEX futures reaches at 22509.
MCX sources said today DAILY MARKET REPORT, India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.72189.71 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on Monday, June 09, 2025 till 4:30 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 15394.32 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 56794.1 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Jun-25 futures was reached at 22509.
Commodity Future Contracts: Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of GOLD and SILVER futures variants clocked Rs. 12193.62 crores. At the time of writing, MCX GOLD futures, with August-2025 expiry contract was down by Rs.290 or 0.3% to Rs. 96746 per 10 gram, GOLDTEN June-2025 contract was down by Rs.326 or 0.34% to Rs. 96573 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA June-2025 contract was down by Rs.193 or 0.25% to Rs. 77732 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL June-2025 contract was down by Rs.26 or 0.27% to Rs. 9736 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM July-2025 contract was down by Rs.329 or 0.34% to Rs. 96316 per 10 gram.
SILVER futures, with July expiry contract was up by Rs.625 or 0.59% to Rs. 106084 per kg, while SILVERM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.566 or 0.54% to Rs. 105805 per kg and SILVERMIC June-2025 contract was up by Rs.608 or 0.58% to Rs. 105809 per kg.
GOLD futures clocked turnover of Rs. 5621.84 crores with volume of 5815 lots and OI of 13910 lots while SILVER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 2170.86 crores with volume of 6826 lots and OI of 25384 lots.
Base Metal: Turnover of base metal futures products accounted for Rs. 1061.63 crores. COPPER June-2025 contract was up by Rs.2.75 or 0.31% to Rs. 878.55 per kg and ZINC June-2025 contract was down by Rs.0.55 or 0.22% to Rs. 252.85 per kg while ALUMINIUM June-2025 contract was up by Rs.1.65 or 0.69% to Rs. 239.45 per kg and LEAD June-2025 contract was up by Rs.0.15 or 0.08% to Rs. 179.3 per kg.
COPPER futures clocked turnover of Rs. 584.88 crores, ALUMINIUM futures Rs. 112.64 crores, LEAD futures Rs. 20.98 crores, and ZINC futures clocked turnover of Rs. 254.43 crores.
Energy: Turnover of energy futures products contributed for Rs. 2055.83 crores. CRUDEOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.17 or 0.31% to Rs. 5551 per BBL while NATURALGAS June-2025 contract was down by Rs.9.7 or 2.98% to Rs. 316 per MMBTU.
CRUDE OIL futures clocked turnover of Rs. 440.71 crores and NATURAL GAS futures Rs. 1311.63 crores.
AGRI: MENTHAOIL June-2025 contract was up by Rs.3.5 or 0.39% to Rs. 909 per kg and COTTONCNDY July-2025 contract was down by Rs.250 or 0.47% to Rs. 53050 per candy.
Options on Commodity Future Contracts:
Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 56794.1 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 926.87 crores.
CRUDE OIL Options: Most traded contracts among CRUDE OIL Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.5500 was up by Rs.8.2 or 6.41% to Rs. 136.20 with volume of 68052 lots & OI of 13020 lots, while CRUDE OIL Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.5500 was down by Rs.10.9 or 11.49% to Rs. 84 with volume of 68234 lots & OI of 20694 lots.
NATURAL GAS Options: Most traded contracts among NATURAL GAS Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.320 was down by Rs.5.05 or 25.9% to Rs. 14.45 with volume of 19468 lots & OI of 8523 lots, while NATURAL GAS Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.320 was up by Rs.4.15 or 29.54% to Rs. 18.2 with volume of 13351 lots & OI of 3990 lots.
GOLD Options: Most traded contracts among GOLD Options were Call Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.100000 was down by Rs.52 or 8.75% to Rs. 542 with volume of 803 lots & OI of 727 lots, while GOLD Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.96000 was up by Rs.126 or 11.14% to Rs. 1257 with volume of 912 lots & OI of 673 lots.
SILVER Options: Most traded contracts among SILVER Options were Call Option June contract at Strike price of Rs.105000 was up by Rs.299.5 or 10.32% to Rs. 3202.5 with volume of 983 lots & OI of 1106 lots, while SILVER Put Option June-2025 contract at Strike price of Rs.100000 was down by Rs.73 or 10.63% to Rs. 613.5 with volume of 1332 lots & OI of 2335 lots.
