~HCG Foundation organised Aarambh Garba 4.0 in Ahmedabad to raise funds for cancer patients, critical care patients and individuals with heart disease facing financial hardship.

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Oct 09 (VNI): HCG Foundation organised the fourth edition of ‘Aarambh Garba 4.0’ on October 8, 2026, at Sola Bhagwat Vidyapith in Ahmedabad, bringing together Gujarati tradition, music and community participation for a meaningful social cause. The event combined the festive spirit of Garba with an initiative to support patients facing financial difficulties in accessing essential healthcare.
All funds raised through the event will be used to assist patients battling cancer, individuals requiring critical care and people suffering from heart disease who are facing financial hardship. Through this initiative, HCG Foundation aims to help patients access the treatment and medical care they need, regardless of the financial challenges faced by their families.
HCG Foundation has already supported more than 2,500 patients in their fight against cancer. Building on this effort, Aarambh Garba 4.0 sought to extend assistance to more families dealing with the financial burden of cancer, critical illnesses and heart disease. The initiative highlighted the role of community participation in helping patients continue their treatment during challenging circumstances.
Serious illnesses such as cancer and heart disease, as well as sudden medical emergencies requiring critical care, can place considerable emotional and financial pressure on families. Expenses related to diagnostic tests, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, intensive care, cardiac treatment and follow-up care can become overwhelming for those with limited resources. Through Aarambh, HCG Foundation sought to bring people together to help ensure that financial constraints do not prevent patients from receiving essential medical treatment.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Bharat Gadhavi, Regional Director, HCG Hospitals, said, “Treatment for cancer, heart disease and critical illness is a long journey, and for many families the financial burden can feel as heavy as the illness itself. HCG Foundation has stood beside more than 2,500 patients so far, and Aarambh is our way of inviting the community to be part of that journey. When people come together to celebrate with a purpose, it can mean the difference between a patient continuing treatment or giving up. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped turn an evening of garba into an act of care.”
Popular artist Hardik Dave led the evening with a vibrant series of Garba performances, creating an atmosphere of celebration and togetherness. The event offered participants an opportunity to enjoy a cherished Gujarati cultural tradition while contributing to a cause aimed at helping patients and families in need.
HCG Foundation expressed its gratitude to everyone who supported Aarambh Garba 4.0 and contributed to the initiative. The event underscored the importance of collective efforts in improving access to healthcare and extending financial assistance to patients facing the challenges of cancer, heart disease and other critical illnesses.
