Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Jan 01, National Photography Festival (NPF) Edition-II has been organized by Navjeevan Trust as part of fostering and establishing new channels of communication that engage the youth in the changing times. NPF Edition-II will be organised at Navjeevan Trust from 2nd January to 5th January,2025.
Giving details about the event, Mr. Vivek Desai, Chairman, Navjeevan Trust said that The National Photography Festival will showcase the work of artists from different parts of the country who have a profound impact on social and cultural messages. NPF will host various events like talks, film screenings, portfolio reviews, panel discussions, workshops and interaction with artists.
Mr. Vivek Desai said that NPF Edition-II has a total of eight exhibitions by the top artists of the country. Visual Archives of Kulwant Roy curated by Aditya Arya, Dialogue with the Camera of Nimai Ghosh curated by Ina Puri, Mukesh Parpiani’s Tragedy at Midnight, Asha Thadani’s Broken, Tarun Bharatiya’s EM/NO, Sunil Adeshara’s The Anand Pattern, Yashpal Rathore’s Tiger-Tiger and Prasenjit Yadav’s Shane: The Leopard of the Mountains/Living Tree Bridges in a Land of Clouds will e showcased in NPF Edition II.
In NPF Edition-II will commence on 2 January 2025 at 5.00 PM. Mukesh Parpiani’s conversation with Vivek Desai and Ina Puri’s conversation with Anuj Ambalal will be held on 3 January 2025 from 6 to 6.45 pm and 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm respectively.
Asha Thadani’s conversation with Anuj Ambalal and Yashpal Rathore’s conversation with Saurabh Desai will be organise on 4 January 2025 from 6 to 6.45 pm and 7to 7:45 pm.
Photography will be organised on 5 January 2025 at 7.00 pm with Sonali D. A Pixel to Print workshop has been organized by Himanshu Panchal from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The award ceremony of Dhairyakant Chauhan Memorial All India Photo Competition has been organized from 5 to 5.30 pm. Tarun Bhartia’s conversation with Mitul Kajaria will be held from 5.45 to 6.30 pm. Sonali D’s film ‘The Name is Linked in Faith’ will be screened from 6.45 to 7.45 pm.
