Daman, Feb 22, Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the various ongoing development initiatives, Union Minister of State Nimuben Bambhania chaired the Union Budget 2025-26 Seminar in Daman today.
According to Government sources, On this occasion, an in-depth discussion was held on the key policies and schemes outlined in the budget.
The seminar highlighted policies focused on the empowerment of Garib (poor), Yuva (youth), Annadata (farmers), and Nari Shakti (women) – GYAN, income tax exemption up to ₹12 lakh, support for MSMEs and the agricultural sector, promotion of women entrepreneurship, infrastructure development, and green energy initiatives.
The Union Budget 2025-26 was emphasized as a crucial step towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-reliant India), accelerating the country’s economic growth.
Following this, during the press briefing held in Daman district, discussions were conducted with media representatives regarding various developmental schemes and public welfare initiatives introduced in the Union Budget. The Minister stated that this budget is a historic step towards the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047, further strengthening the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Collective Effort, Inclusive Growth).
