Ahmedabad, Sep 20, recognization of distinguished professors of Gujarat University (GU) among the top 2% of researchers globally, according to the Elsevier and Stanford University’s “Updated Science-wide Author Database of Standardized Citation Indicators” (August 2024).
According to a press release issued by GU today Gujarat University proudly announces that three of its distinguished professors have been recognized among the top 2% of researchers globally, according to the Elsevier and Stanford University’s “Updated Science-wide Author Database of Standardized Citation Indicators” (August 2024). This remarkable achievement underscores the significant contributions of our faculty to the global research landscape.
Dr. Neerja A Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Gujarat University said, ” We extend our heartfelt congratulations to: Prof. Nita H. Shah recognized for both Career-long achievements and Single recent year impact. This year’s report, which updates a list first released in 2019, includes bibliometric data on over 180,000 researchers worldwide, emphasizing the outstanding contributions of these scholars in their respective fields. The list of top scientists is released annually, created by Stanford experts based on standardized citation indicators, including information on citations, h-index, co- authorship, and a composite indicator.
