Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Feb 07, The final placement process for PGP-FABM (Post-Graduate Programme in Food & Agribusiness Management) at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) for the batch of 2023-25 was completed successfully on 6th February 2025.
According to a press release issued by IIMA here today, The process was successfully carried out in hybrid mode, with 44 students will join their respective companies in the month of April-June 2025. The seamless execution of the placement process underscores IIMA’s strong industry connect, its robust placement process, and the flexibility offered to both. recruiters and students.
The FABM students looking for Final placements were well-received by the industry, with multiple companies participating in the placement process. The placements witnessed a balance of roles from all sectors like Agri-inputs, Agri-Tech, Consulting, Conglomerates, Food Processing, FMCG, Manufacturing and ESG Consulting. Grant Thornton Bharat has emerged as the top recruiter, while the placement process witnessed regular recruiters who reaffirmed. their confidence in the program, such as Accenture, Ernst & Young (EY), Grant Thorton Bharat, Godrej Agrovet, PI Industries, Nestle, PepsiCo, Amul, Reliance Industries etc., many new recruiters also showed a keen interest in the batch, which is visible by the participation of industry giants like ITC-ABD, Novasol Ingredients, Valency International, Ashirvad by Aliaxis, Jain Irrigation Systems, Husk Power Systems.
Prof. Viswanath Pingali, Chairperson of Placements, stated “FABM is the number one program in the world when it comes to agribusiness. The recruiters confirmed it again through the placements of the candidates. In my interactions with students, I see the potential for future leaders in the agricultural and business sector.”
Siddharth Choudhury, Recruitment Secretary of the PGP-FABM Placement Committee, thanked all recruiters who believed in the PGP-FABM batch and participated in final placements. Additionally, the placement committee would like to congratulate the ’25 batch on successfully completing their final placements and wish them luck for the new beginning.

Further details about the placement process will be released in an audited report, as per the Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS), introduced by IIMA to bring about greater transparency in B-school placements across the country.
