Somnath, Oct 15, A unique initiative empowering the Digital India, This Diwali Devotees can perform virtual Lakshmi Puja at Somnath. 
According to a statement issued by Shri Somnath Trust General Manager here today In Hinduism the auspicious festival of Diwali known for bringing good fortune, is marked by worshipping Goddess Lakshmi and seeking her blessings to start the new year. With the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the bestower of prosperity and success and Goddess Lakshmi, businessmen and families begin their new year’s financial dealings by performing rituals and puja on new account books.
To make this tradition more accessible and joyful for people, Shri Somnath Trust, following the vision of Digital India set by the country’s esteemed Prime Minister and Somnath Trust’s chairman, Shri Narendra Modi, has organized a special initiative to connect devotees from across the nation for Lakshmi Puja at Somnath Temple via an online platform.
This Diwali, on Thursday, 31/10/2024, from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM, a special Lakshmi Puja program will be held at Somnath Temple for devotees across the country, both online and in person.
