~IITRAM held its 8th Convocation Ceremony for the Class of 2026 in Ahmedabad, conferring degrees on 129 graduates and honouring academic toppers with medals.
Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Sep 19 (VNI): The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM) held its 8th Convocation Ceremony for the Class of 2026 on Saturday at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Auditorium Hall, Vastral, Ahmedabad, celebrating the academic achievements of its graduating students.
Degrees were conferred on 129 graduates, including 116 B.Tech, 1 M.Tech and 12 PhD recipients. Among the B.Tech graduates, 5 students earned degrees with Honours, 15 earned degrees with Minors and 1 student earned a B.Tech degree with a microspecialization. The ceremony also marked the graduation of the first batch of Computer Engineering students at IITRAM.
Mr. Patel Om Kalpeshkumar from Computer Engineering was awarded the Chairman’s Medal for the Class of 2026 for securing the highest CPI in the batch. In addition, 4 Gold Medals and 4 Silver Medals were presented to toppers of various specializations in recognition of their academic excellence.
Prof. Manoj K. Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai, was the Chief Guest at the convocation ceremony. He inspired the graduating students with his address and shared insights on education, leadership and their future journey. Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, who holds distinctions including FNAE, FASc, FNASc and FIISE, has served as the Founding Director of IIM Mumbai since August 2023. He earlier served as Director of the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai, from 2019 to 2023.
The convocation marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduates as they celebrated their achievements and prepared to embark on new professional and academic opportunities.
