~Gujarat University launches UGC-entitled affordable online undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes through CDOE, offering flexible learning for students, professionals and international learners.
Ahmedabad, Gujarat, July 24 (VNI): In a significant step towards making higher education affordable and accessible, Gujarat University, through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), has launched UGC-entitled affordable online undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. The initiative is aimed at expanding access to quality education for learners across India and abroad at a reasonable cost.
The university said the online programmes offer students the flexibility to study anytime and from anywhere without the need to attend regular classroom sessions. The courses are designed to benefit students, working professionals, entrepreneurs, homemakers, as well as learners living in remote regions and overseas. International students are also eligible to enroll, further enhancing Gujarat University’s global academic outreach.
As per applicable UGC regulations, eligible students can also pursue a dual degree, enabling them to strengthen their academic profile while improving career prospects. The programmes are delivered through a modern digital learning platform featuring recorded lectures, e-learning resources and continuous academic support by experienced faculty members of the Centre for Distance and Online Education.
Prof. Dr. Jagdish Joshi, Vice-Chancellor (I/C) of Gujarat University and Director of CDOE, said the university is committed to providing quality higher education that is both affordable and accessible to every learner. He added that new online programmes, including BBA and MBA, are expected to be introduced soon after receiving the necessary statutory approvals.
