~Three GCCI office bearers, including Navroz Tarapore, Himanshu Patel and Dhruvil Patel, were elected uncontested for the 2026–27 term during the Executive Committee meeting in Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Aug 07 (VNI): Three office bearers were elected unopposed during the Executive Committee meeting of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) held on Friday for the 2026–27 term.
According to GCCI Additional Secretary General Geeta Joshi, Navroz Tarapore was elected as Honorary Secretary, Himanshu Patel (Vadodara) as Honorary Secretary (Regional), and Dhruvil Patel as Honorary Treasurer. All three were elected uncontested.
Earlier, at the GCCI Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Installation Ceremony for the 2026–27 term held on July 30 at Golden Glory Hall, Karnavati Club in Ahmedabad, Rajesh Gandhi formally assumed charge as President of GCCI. Jigish Doshi took office as Senior Vice President, while Hiten Vasant assumed the role of Vice President.
The newly elected Executive Committee members for the 2026–27 term were also announced during the installation ceremony, marking the beginning of the Chamber’s new leadership team.
