Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Aug 08 (VNI): TTF Ahmedabad 2026 concluded successfully on Saturday at the Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, reaffirming Western India’s position as one of the country’s leading domestic and outbound travel markets. Organised by Fairfest Media, the three-day event held from August 6 to 8 brought together tourism boards, travel companies, hospitality brands, airlines, attractions, destination management companies and travel technology providers from India and overseas.
The largest show in the TTF series, TTF Ahmedabad 2026 recorded a 10% increase in trade visitor participation compared with the previous edition, indicating strong industry engagement and robust demand ahead of India’s festive and winter travel season. The event was inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel as Chief Guest. The occasion was also attended by Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, Goa Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte and Gujarat Tourism Secretary Kuldeep Arya, among other senior officials.
The three-day event featured 900-plus exhibitors from 27 Indian States and Union Territories and 10 countries, while more than 16,500 visitors attended the show. With Israel as the Feature Country, international participation included Vietnam, Sri Lanka, the UAE, Nepal, the USA, China, Thailand and Bhutan. Gujarat Tourism was the Host State, while Goa, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Rajasthan, Kerala, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka participated as Partner States. West Bengal, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Delhi and Meghalaya participated as Feature States.
The event provided a platform for B2B meetings, destination showcases and travel trade engagement, with participation from leading private-sector travel and hospitality brands as well as numerous tourism and travel associations. The strong presence of tourism boards, travel companies, hospitality groups and industry associations highlighted the growing importance of Ahmedabad and Gujarat as a major travel-trade hub in Western India.
The Awards Ceremony marked the conclusion of TTF Ahmedabad 2026, recognising exhibitors and participants across categories for excellence in presentation, innovation and visitor engagement. Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman and CEO, Fairfest Media Limited, said the participation of four senior ministers from three states reflected the growing importance of travel and tourism to India’s economy. He said the 10% rise in trade visitors represented three days of serious business rather than mere footfall, adding that the buying appetite witnessed at the event pointed towards a strong festive and winter travel season.
With a strong economy, rising disposable incomes and a highly travel-active population, Gujarat continues to be one of India’s leading travel markets as well as a major destination. TTF Ahmedabad has consequently emerged as the largest show in the TTF series, occupying more than twice the exhibition space of any other edition and attracting more exhibitors than any other TTF event, giving tourism destinations and travel brands concentrated access to Western India’s travel trade ahead of the peak travel season.
