Ahmedabad, Gujarat, July 20 (VNI): GLS University hosted an engaging edition of its “Decoded with Chandni Kapadia” series, featuring renowned podcaster and storyteller Jay Thadeshwar. The session, led by GLS University Executive Director Chandni Kapadia, brought together students, faculty members and aspiring professionals for an interactive discussion on entrepreneurship, storytelling, creativity, communication and personal growth.
Jay Thadeshwar shared his journey from helping brands build identities to becoming a storyteller through his Gujarati-language podcast platform. He emphasized the power of authentic storytelling, regional languages and meaningful conversations in creating a lasting impact. He also spoke about balancing entrepreneurship with values, spirituality and purpose while encouraging students to remain curious and continuously develop their communication skills.
During the interaction, Thadeshwar reflected on interviewing leading entrepreneurs, industrialists, actors and public figures, highlighting the importance of asking thoughtful questions and understanding people beyond their public image. He also shared his experience of representing the voice of Young India at the British Parliament’s House of Commons, encouraging students to believe that ambition, curiosity and effective communication can help them achieve global recognition regardless of their background.
Sharing a personal message, Jay Thadeshwar said, “Sometimes life does not take you directly towards your dream; it takes you through experiences that prepare you for it. What may seem like a missed opportunity today can become the foundation for something much bigger in the future.”
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, where students discussed leadership, entrepreneurship and career development.
