~Isha Ambani thanks investors at the Jio Platforms IPO listing ceremony in Mumbai, highlights Jio’s financial performance and reaffirms Reliance’s commitment to growth and customer value.
Mumbai, Maharashtra, Oct 28 (VNI): Isha Ambani, Director of Jio Platforms, expressed gratitude to investors, customers and employees at the listing ceremony of the Jio Platforms IPO on October 28, 2026, reaffirming the company’s commitment to growth, innovation and creating long-term value for India. In her address, she reflected on the legacy of Reliance founder Dhirubhai Ambani, the vision of Mukesh Ambani and Jio’s journey over the past decade.
Addressing distinguished guests, shareholders and the Reliance family, Isha Ambani recalled how her father, Mukesh Ambani, began working on Reliance’s first public offering in 1977 at the age of 20. She noted that Dhirubhai Ambani had envisioned taking Reliance to ordinary people across India, enabling families from different economic backgrounds to participate in the country’s growth as shareholders rather than remaining spectators.
She highlighted that Reliance’s first public offering raised ₹2.82 crore at a valuation of ₹10 crore, describing the company’s journey as a powerful example of the trust placed by Indian families in a vision that has continued to expand across generations.
Nearly five decades later, Isha Ambani said, that trust had come full circle, with investors placing a part of their future in the hands of the next generation of Reliance leadership. She thanked shareholders for their confidence and commitment, saying the company accepted their faith with gratitude, humility and a deep sense of responsibility.
Emphasising Jio’s business philosophy, Isha Ambani said the company was built on Mukesh Ambani’s first principles of creating genuine value for customers, with strong earnings following from that commitment. She described this approach as Jio’s dharma and underscored the importance of keeping customers at the centre of its business strategy.
According to the figures shared in her address, Jio generated approximately $15.5 billion in revenue and around $8 billion in earnings during the year. She highlighted the scale of this achievement, noting that Jio had accomplished it within just 10 years of its journey.
However, she stressed that behind every financial figure was a customer who had embraced Jio’s services. Thanking customers for welcoming Jio into their homes, businesses and classrooms, she said, “Jio aapne banaya,” acknowledging the role of millions of Indians in building the company.
Isha Ambani also paid tribute to the people who had contributed to Jio’s growth. She expressed pride in her brother Akash Ambani’s dedication over the past 13 years and thanked Manoj Uncle for guiding both siblings at the beginning of their careers. She acknowledged the Jio team as the company’s first teachers, crediting their belief, commitment and hard work with turning the vision into reality.
She also expressed gratitude to Anand, Shloka and Radhika for their support, while acknowledging her mother, Nita Ambani, for being a source of strength and grace for both the Ambani family and the wider Reliance family. She described her children, Prithvi, Aadiya, Krishna and Veda, as the light of their lives and an inspiration to become better every day.
Calling the IPO listing not an endpoint but a promise for the future, Isha Ambani said she, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani would renew Dhirubhai Ambani’s commitment to investors and customers. She reaffirmed that the company would continue building with integrity and honour the trust placed in it.
“Growth is life,” she said, recalling the guiding principle taught by her grandfather.
In an emotional tribute to Mukesh Ambani, Isha Ambani praised his ability to envision opportunities before others could recognise them and his courage to build what many considered impossible. She said his vision had helped hundreds of millions of Indians discover new possibilities and ambitions across different industries and generations.
She emphasised that the family’s enduring faith in India remained unchanged, adding that the country’s best opportunities still lay ahead. Thanking her father for his leadership, love and guidance, she said the milestone would not have been possible without him.
Concluding her address, Isha Ambani invited the audience to honour Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani on the occasion and then welcomed her brother, Akash Ambani, Managing Director of Jio, to address the gathering.
The ceremony marked an important milestone in Jio Platforms’ corporate journey, highlighting the legacy of Reliance, the participation of investors and the company’s stated commitment to customer value, innovation and India’s continued growth. VNI NEWS,
